Toby and Rob had a very productive workshop day with Attic Theory recently! Hailing from Liverpool, this new rock band are really committing to the process following a series of consultations and we are seeing the hard work put in first hand. Over the course of the day new ideas flourished, previously untapped sources and avenues were discovered and the five piece thrived with inspiration and positivity.

We had the pleasure of being invited to speak at Bath’s Music Expo UK exhibition and sit on a panel along with Wyatt Wendels (Planet Rock Radio) and Gary Paterson (Amplified Festival).
Toby and Rob recently spoke to Bristol music legend Andy Fox on GTFM about Lightning In A Bottle and playing some of their favourite tracks ever.

Lightning In A Bottle is a new music management consultation agency co-founded by Toby Jepson (Wayward Sons/Little Angels) and Rob Town (Stampede Press/Panic Cell). With its core values aimed squarely at the music and what it is to be a music maker in the modern age, this new business partnership has been set up by musicians with over 30 years experience in the industry as a support platform for musicians, to help inform, encourage, support and empower them, and to bring a real, honest approach to the problems and challenges that so many bands and music artists face everyday.
The Liberty guys are all local chaps, aside from vocalist Rob Cooksley who resides in South Wales, and all have had years of experience in various bands including in the case of Rob, being the vocalist in Mick Underwood’s Glory Road. The rest of the band consists of Fred Hale (guitar), Andy Muse (Guitar) and rhythm section Steve Byrne (drums) and Bassist Mark Thomas.
We recently had the pleasure of attending WaterBear’s Underground Music Conference as part of their industry witness panels. With an emphasis on joining the dots and helping new bands with guidance and have their music heard by industry experts, this ethos fits perfectly with Lightning In A Bottle’s core values.
